Where are Lizzy’s designs made & Who made them?

All designs are made in Lizzy’s design studio in Brooklyn, NY and in NYC’s Garment District. Lizzy herself designs, drapes, cuts, and sews the majority of the products. The others are made by local freelance seamstresses.

What makes lizzy’s designs sustainable?

Lizzy has a firm philosophy that any designs can be produced sustainably and that each silhouette and/or surface design can be paired with a more eco-friendly method to achieve it. When she starts with concept development, she takes note of the traditional construction process and function of the designs and then alters this without changing the essences of what the design is. These various eco-friendly methods include using organic, recycled, upcycled, and/or deadstock fabrics, zero-waste patterning, small batch production, and designing convertible clothes that can be altered by the wearer to increase the utility/lifespan of the product. Nothing goes to waste and everything is made with love and intention.

What is THE return policy?

Returns:

We offer free returns in the U.S. within 15 days of receiving your purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it as well as in the original packaging. Gift cards and any other virtually received products are excluded. Please email studio@lizzygee.com for a free return label. 

Shipment processing time

All one-of-a-kind designs are processed within 2-4 business days. All made-to-order designs are processed between 5 business days to 2 weeks from time of purchase. Please review product description. Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days due to our small operation.

Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

 

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

 

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Lizzy Gee is not responsible for any taxes and customs applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 

Missing & Damaged Packages

Lizzy Gee is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Does Lizzy ACCEPT custom work?

Yes, Lizzy does custom design work with clothing, accessories, and textiles. Pricing varies depending on the project’s time, materials, and quantity. Best way to inquire about custom work is by sending an email to studio@lizzygee.com (link to our email is on the bottom navigation bar).

What is our size chart and our we willing to expand if a customer’s sizing is not included?

Our size chart is genderless, since every design has no intended gender, and currently ranging from XS-XXL. Made to order garments are available in these sizes while one-of-a-kind garments and accessories are size-specific. Sizing information can be found in each product’s description in our shop. If a customer sees a design on our e-commerce shop that they love but are concerned about sizing we are more than happy to answer any questions and alter the sizing of our made to order products for the best fit.
